Profile: Sarah Jenkins
Role:Â Senior Field Operations & Safety Editor
Focus:Â Hands-on Testing, Maintenance, and Safety Protocols
Bio
Sarah Jenkins is the “boots on the ground” voice of TractorsBy. With over 15 years of direct experience in agricultural operations, she bridges the gap between theoretical manuals and the muddy reality of small-farm life. Before becoming a journalist, Sarah worked as a heavy equipment operator and farm manager in Vermont, managing a 40-acre mixed-livestock operation.
Her writing is driven by a single question: “Will this machine actually work when the mud is knee-deep and the deadline is tomorrow?” She personally tests every piece of equipment featured on our site, prioritizing durability, ease of maintenance, and, above all, operator safety.
